The construction of a new health center in Oldenzaal has impacted the daylight access to an adjacent building housing a photo studio. To address this, the photo studio's user and the health center's partnership agreed to compensate for the reduced natural light by installing additional artificial lighting. PhysiBuild was commissioned by the health center partnership to conduct a study to quantify the reduction in daylight. By comparing calculations of daylight access in both the existing and new scenarios, the extent of the reduction was determined. The loss of daylight will be mitigated through the installation of artificial lighting.
