PhysiBuild conducted measurements to evaluate room acoustics and sound transmission from the ground floor to the first floor through a large open void. A test setup was created to assess the effectiveness of applying sound-absorbing materials to the edge of the void. The goal was to determine whether this intervention could reduce sound transmission and minimize disturbances among employees working in the space.
