Housing Papendrechtsestraat

A residential building has been realized on Papendrechtsestraat in Dordrecht, the apartments of which were completed in September/October 2023. Since completion, a dozen residents have been experiencing a draught/air flow from the sockets present in the Metal stud house separating walls. This airflow is accompanied by a screeching whistle sound when there are strong winds from the northwest. These complaints only occur in the homes at the head of the building. These houses are located on the north side and overlook the water. Furthermore, residents of some apartments experienced poor sound insulation.

PhysiBuild was asked to conduct an on-site investigation to try to find out the cause of these complaints so that they can be resolved by the contractor.
